Image Enhancement Software (IES)

Image enhancement software is an optional application that is loaded on a PC. IES acts as an electronic checkpoint for scanned images. As quickly as images pass through the scanner, IES performs a multi-point inspection of each document. IES instantly checks and adjusts for alignment (skew), brightness, contrast, and image clarity. Any inconsistencies are immediately corrected by IES so that only the straightest, most readable images are moved into DMS.
